Terms and Conditions

By accessing and using DAC (hereinafter "the Application"), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Application.

DAC is a web application that allows users to:

• Share their location when consuming a beverage
• View other active users on a map
• Review check-in history and statistics
• Participate in a community leaderboard

By using the Application, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Not impersonate another person
• Not post offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content
• Respect other users and the community
• Not use the Application for commercial purposes without authorization
• Not attempt to bypass security measures

Check-ins, photos, and information you share remain your property. However, by posting them on the Application, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display this content as part of the Application's operation.

The Application uses your GPS location only when you perform a check-in. Your position is visible to other users during the duration of your check-in. You may refuse access to your location, but some features will not be available.

• You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction
• We encourage responsible consumption
• Never drive after consuming alcohol
• The Application is not responsible for the consequences of your actions
• If you have a problem with alcohol, consult a healthcare professional

SMS alerts are optional and off by default. To receive them, you enter your own mobile number (Canada or United States) in your settings, explicitly agree to receive text messages and confirm you are of legal drinking age, then confirm the number with a 6-digit code.

• Messages sent: the confirmation code, then an alert when a member checks in
• Frequency: at most 1 message every 30 minutes
• Message and data rates from your carrier may apply
• Reply STOP to stop receiving messages, HELP for help
• You can also turn the alerts off or remove your number in your settings
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

The Application is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Application.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Application at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these terms and conditions at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Application at any time, without notice, in case of violation of these terms and conditions.

These terms are governed by the laws in force in Canada, Province of Quebec. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
